HorseSpirit Arts Gallery

Dear Friends, THANK YOU so much for joining us this past weekend to celebrate the Grand Opening of HorseSpirit Arts Gallery at Historic Savage Mill in Savage, Maryland!

We kicked off the morning with a ribbon cutting ceremony hosted by the Howard County Chamber of Commerce. Lovely people visited us all throughout the day. These people came from near and far. I even had two sets of visitors that I had not seen in person for 18 years! I hugged so many people – it was just awesome!

At 5:00pm the Gallery POPPED! - with well over a 100 people arriving to celebrate our Grand Opening. We all had festive beverages and chocolate made by the fabulous “Sweet Cascades Chocolatier” of Historic Savage Mill. Truffles, chocolate covered strawberries, and many more non-nutritional treats were enjoyed by all! We held a brief ceremony where I had the opportunity to thank everyone for helping us recover and rebuild.

There is an ancient Chinese Proverb that says “fall down eight times, get up nine”. Well I could not have gotten up this time, rebuilt and reopened my gallery again without the help of the Artists of HorseSpirit Arts Gallery, the Gallery’s Operations Team, my close friends and MANY of you. Thank you all for your generous donations of money, support, compassion and hard work. You are a blessing in my life.

To my Gallery customers, it is your patronage that will continue to keep HorseSpirit Arts Gallery open and allow me to represent the fabulous creations of over 40 local artists. Please continue to visit as us often as you can. Remember us for holiday gifts, and please tell your friends about us. I want to be in this wonderful Historic Savage Mill location providing art for our community for the next 20 years.

Below are some photos of the gallery’s opening. As promised, I wore an evening gown, tiara and tennis shoes. My husband (Sweet Max) – also the Gallery’s Chief Information Technology & Operations Officer AND the love of my life – wore his favorite cowboy hat and boots. We had a ball!

As we move forward our Gallery Hours are below. I will expand these hours as the holiday’s approach.
• Monday 10AM – 6PM
• Tuesday CLOSED
• Wednesday 10AM - 6PM
• Thursday 10AM - 6PM
• Friday 10AM - 8PM
• Saturday 10AM - 8PM
• Sunday 10AM - 6PM

In closing, thank you for supporting HorseSpirit Arts Gallery. And I look forward to welcoming you all again soon. Abundant Kindness, Robin

HorseSpirit Arts Gallery

Dear Friends, Please join us this Saturday, November 10th, 2018, for the GRAND OPENING of HorseSpirit Arts Gallery in our new home at Historic Savage Mill in Savage, Maryland. While we were busy preparing the inside of the Gallery, the wonderful Savage Mill Owners were busy sprucing up the outside of the Cotton Shed Building / Barn that we call our new home. It is now a gray building with a red roof. We love it!!

Our doors will open at 10:00am with an official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony hosted by the Howard County Chamber of Commerce. We will serve hot coffee and pastries. That night, we will host a fun, festive reception from 5:00pm - 9:00pm. Please wear whatever expresses the "inner you". I will be wearing an evening gown, a tiara and my tennis shoes. As always, we will have festive beverages and non-nutritional food-groups.

In case you are not familiar with Historic Savage Mill, it is located just off the intersection of US Route 1 and Route 32 in Howard County, MD. My Gallery’s address is 8600 Foundry Street, Suite 2063, Savage Mill, MD 20763.

Below is a map of Historic Savage Mills. There are two parking lots. One is right next to the Gallery. The second is the large West Parking Lot shown at the right in the map below. From there, you will enter the Mill in the "New Weave Building". Then go downstairs and walk along the left side of the Mill. Just after you pass the wonderful store "Sweet Cascades Chocolatier", you will arrive at double doors that are an exit to outside. Exit through those doors and continue to walk outside past the cool art store "The Queen's Ink" and cross over to the Cotton Shed building. HorseSpirit Arts Gallery is in the Barn at the end of the Cotton Shed. There are signs along the way to help you find the Gallery. You can also just ask one of the many kind Savage Mill business owners and they will direct you. It is easier to find than it sounds!!
The Gallery's hours are Monday 10am-6pm, Tuesday Closed, Wednesday & Thursday 10am-6pm, Friday & Saturday 10am-8pm, Sunday 10am-6pm.

I am so excited and can't wait to show you all the Artist’s amazing new creations! Of course, I want to also give you a big hug! I have missed you. Abundant Kindness, Robin
