When I realized the longevity of this pandemic, I challenged the Gallery’s Artists to create artwork that expressed what “Perseverance” meant to them. According to Websters: “Perseverance is the act of continuing to do or achieve something despite difficulties, failure or opposition.” Its synonyms include determination, tenacity, purposefulness, backbone, and grit.

Why is our current art show called Perseverance?
Well Robin Holliday, the owner & curator of HorseSpirit Arts, is no stranger to challenging times. She understands the tremendous stress that situations – not under our control – can cause, especially if not expressed. With this in mind Robin challenged HorseSpirit artists to express what “Perseverance” means to them… through their artwork. The result – over 60 new pieces by 25 HorseSpirit artists revealing what Perseverance means to them through art. Robin hopes these pieces bring you a sense of hope and resolve.
