George French - "This piece came from the crotch of an apple tree that grew in an orchard in Howard County. With four branches intersecting, it was difficult to decide what to cut out and what to leave. Spider cracks developed around the piths of the four branches and I opened the cracks and filled them with Azure Mica powder mixed with epoxy. I persevered through the turning and finishing of this piece to create a vessel with a lot going on."
