Did you know we have an upstairs? Be honest…
Multi-talanted artist Chris Guercio, best known for her fused glass work, completed "Jewel Swatch" the stair riser installation, which leads all to more art in HorseSpirit’s loft gallery.

Whether she’s taking us to the feet of redwood giants in "Muir Woods", or shrinking our view – making us look up to diminutive "Fairy Cap" mushrooms – artist Linda Schisler takes us to inspiring heights with her photography.
Linda entered HorseSpirits’ Perseverance Artist Show, and shared with us the perseverance it takes to capture her (mushroom) images… "There is a large fallen tree in the forest next to my home. Over the years it has become an ecosystem for plants, bugs, and small woodland creatures. That is my go to place for my mushroom photos. I scope it out every day for their arrival and note the time for perfect lighting. The sun hits the side of the tree where the mushrooms like to grow about an hour before sunset. I set up my camera early and wait for it. Sometimes in the quiet I will be visited by the doe and her twins. One of these days I’ll get that shot too." -Linda Schisler

Pastel artist Tara Will signed her featured article in Plein Air Magazine yesterday when she dropped off ELEVEN new pieces!
Come visit her work and enjoy what writer Bob Bahr calls Tara’s “confident use of color and bold mark-making…” Robin is hanging them on the walls now! Tara is a regular at plein air events, preferring to be outside, she says “The light is always better… You learn so fast when you paint outside. You have to improvise and figure it out. It’s like immersions in a language.”
