Linda Schisler

Photographer / Painter

Linda Schisler, a lifelong resident of the Baltimore area, began her professional career over 30 years ago. Even as a child, she always carried her Kodak Instamatic camera, just waiting to capture that perfect photo.

Linda worked as a photographer and videographer for an Aerospace company in the 1980s, spending countless hours in the darkroom learning and perfecting her skills. She also owned a photography studio in the 1990s, specializing in pet and children’s portraits and weddings. She is currently co-owner and Artistic Director of Creatives, LLC, a local business providing creative design solutions.

Being an accomplished photographer is not Linda’s only artistic outlet. She is a painter, specializing in cold wax medium and oil. She is also a graphic artist with a concentration on graphic design and animations. Over the past 15 years, she has completed the design and layout for seven published books.

Linda has traveled the world capturing historic architecture and the beauty of nature. Locally, she particularly loves memorializing her hometown of Historic Ellicott City. With a superb eye for beauty, she seeks out unique details and nuances of her subjects, resulting in photographs that speak to the viewer.
